A caber is a log that’s flipped 180 degrees, and points are based on how it lands relative to the throwers final stance. Both precision and distance thrown combine to make up the score. A caber landing at the 12 o’clock position achieves a perfect score. Fewer points are awarded if the pole lands in other positions e.g. 10, 11, 1, 0r 2 o’clock, and so on.
